The report of m2Work Hackathon 2012 is prepared by YoungInnovations. The report consists the details of the hackathon that was held on September 15-16, 2012 in five countries -- Kenya, South Africa, Vietnam, Nepal and Republic of Armenia -- simultaneously. mLabs established in all these countries except Nepal, where mHub is established, organized the hackthon with the facilitation of YoungInnovations. infoDev was the principle organizer of the hackathon.

Over ten teams participated and produced solutions, all finding innovative ways of mobilizing an untapped work force to do micro jobs and earn some income.
We are very proud of everyone who participated in this very worthy event to raise awareness about unemployment and Micro Work.

Coding ... coding and just coding.... We join the m2workhackathon at the last time with an idea named mobile survey. Idea all about is to give chance to all micro worker all over the world to get job and earn some money anywhere and anytime. Every Organization want to go to huge mass audience to know about their quality of service, their interest and feedback to promote and take a decision on their business for coming future and this application is developed to give solution running in between organization and micro workers.
The M2Work Hackthon has come to an end with crowning of four teams as winners. The global event was conducted across the five m:Labs in the world. In Kenya, participants came up with 10 ideas, forming 10 teams. The teams concentrated on developing their ideas to prototypes overnight with no third party, with mentorship sessions being held periodically for insight purposes.
Great things happen when great minds come together. Indeed m2work hackathon sep 15-16 in Nepal is testimony to that. When you ignite the spark of enthusiasm in those great minds even greater things happen. m2work hackathon was able to inspire young minds to stretch beyond their comfort zone and scratch their creativity and skills to produce praiseworthy work. m2work hackathon in Nepal was able to produce 10 promising ideas and products based on those ideas.
